After you unbox and spray your fragrance for the first time, you definitely would experience what is referred to as in the fragrance community as the "alcohol blast."

The "alcohol blast" is the harsh opening that you get when you first spray your fragrance. It may lead you to think that your fragrance has gone bad, however this is not the case.

After spraying your fragrance, please allow for a few minutes to allow for the alcohol to evaporate and for the fragrance notes to develop and take its course.

Ideally you should store your fragrance away from direct sunlight as this can hamper the integrity of the perfume. Therefore, you should store your fragrance in a cool and dark place, away from direct sunlight.
